Cute Cafe

I went out last night with my friends for dinner and she told me about a cute cafe called Anna Shea Chocolates near the place we ate. We decided to make our way over and as we walked in my friend kept going on about their frozen hot chocolate, but all I had my mind on was the macarons she mentioned earlier.

We entered and I was in love. The smell. The look, the whole atmosphere was amazing. It was cute with small tables to sit at, but that wasn't the best part. Right in my line of sight as I walked in was chocolate. There were rows of chocolates, and they were beautiful. There were colors from pink and yellow to blue and purple, they were so beautifully crafted it was hard to believe they were edible. One of the workers walked out from behind the counter and offered us samples of chocolate. There were three options, there was creme brulee, pink lemonade (yes, pink lemonade chocolate!) and vanilla. Naturally, my picky self chose vanilla, deciding not to go out on a limb and try the pink lemonade. My friend chose the creme brulee and said it was amazing, and the vanilla wasn't too bad it's self.

I continued to look around, and that's when I found them. The macarons. I was so excited and I was already planning out my order. I ordered 2 coffee, 2 vanilla, 1 chocolate, and 1 earl grey tea (but I then got an extra coffee because one of them broke a bit, so I received a free one, free food = happy Hannah). They were all out of sea salt caramel and raspberry, so I couldn't get either of those :( But I ate 1 of my coffees' and 1 vanilla, and I will honestly say they were the best macarons I have ever tasted. The creme filling was was rich and soft, and the cookie shell just melted in my mouth. The macarons were beautifully presented in both design and taste and I would definitely recommend anyone with a love for macarons or any dessert to try Anna Shea. And my friend would definitely recommend the frozen hot chocolate, she let me have a small taste and it tasted like a brownie. It was delicious and something I had never tried before.

It was definitely a fun and tasty night, and I hope you all get a chance to try Anna Shea!
